Light Demolition Done Right in Hardin Valley

Hardin Valley has grown faster than almost anywhere in Knox County, and growth means change. New owners update older properties, families finally tear out the rotting deck or the leaning fence, and remodels start with getting the old materials out of the way. That first messy step is where we come in.

We are Junk Galaxy, and demolition is one of the things our crews do best. We handle light, non-structural teardowns across Hardin Valley, then haul every piece away in the same visit so you are never left staring at a pile in the driveway.

Over more than 7,000 jobs, we have learned that people mostly want two things from a demolition crew: a straight answer on price and a team that treats their property with respect. You get both. We quote the work, we honor that quote, and our crews show up on time and clean up after themselves.

If a job needs a licensed electrician or plumber, we will tell you plainly and point you to trusted partners for that part.

So, What Does a Demolition Job Cost?

Demolition is quoted by the volume of material we remove, because a single deck and a full interior gut are very different jobs. There is no flat demolition price, and any honest crew will want to see the scope before naming a number.

What moves the total is the size of the structure, how it is built, how much debris it becomes, and how easy it is to reach.

A backyard shed is quick but a deck with concrete footings takes more work.

We look at the project, give you an on-site estimate, and the price we quote is the price you pay.

What Makes Our Demolition Different

One crew, start to finish

The same team that tears it out hauls it off, so there is no gap between demolition and cleanup.

Honest scope

We do decks, sheds, fences, cabinets, drywall, flooring, concrete, and bathtubs, and we say so clearly when a job needs a licensed trade instead.

A price that holds

The quote we give is the one you pay, with no surprise line items at the end.

Respect for your property

We work tidy, careful, and judgment-free, the same way we would in our own homes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Light, non-structural work: old decks and pergolas, sheds, fencing and retaining walls, kitchen and bath cabinets, countertops, bathtubs, drywall, flooring, and concrete. We remove it and haul it away together.
We do not remove plumbing or electrical systems or handle hazardous materials, since those need licensed trades. We are happy to refer you to partners we trust for that part.
Small interior removals usually do not, but taking down a whole structure can. Hardin Valley sits in unincorporated Knox County, where demolition permits go through Knox County Codes Administration, and we help you account for that in the plan.
We do both. Hauling the debris away is included, so you are never left with a mess to handle on your own.
Often the same day or the next. We keep our schedule open for quick turnarounds, which matters when a demolition is holding up a bigger project.
Send photos or book a short on-site visit. We give you a clear quote based on the scope and stand by it.

(takes 1-2 min)

Hardin Valley is an unincorporated community in west Knox County, about fifteen miles from downtown Knoxville, and one of the fastest-growing corners of the region. Home to the main campus of Pellissippi State Community College and a wave of newer subdivisions along Hardin Valley Road, it blends established properties with steady new construction, which keeps demolition and cleanout work in steady demand. Because the community is unincorporated, building and demolition permits are administered through Knox County Codes Administration for this unincorporated community.
