How much does it cost to clean out a space?

Cleanout rates depend on the total square footage of the space you need to clean. We have a minimum rate of $150 for the first 2 yd³ of material removed. The minimum rate usually covers items like a refrigerator, a freezer, a washer and drier, a sofa, or a mattress and boxspring.

What happens with the items removed?

Whatever you want. We can dump them in the landfill where no one can ever find them, or donate or recycle them to help others. Many clients choose to donate items, and we work with partners like Volunteer Ministry Center or Angelic Ministries to find a new home for your items. We also donate a lot of furniture pieces to schools around Knox County.

Do you also dust or vacuum?

We do not offer cleaning services, but we can recommend you to trusted and reliable companies that will do that after our job is done. We can only clean out the space and remove all the items you want removed.

How long does a home cleanout take?

We offer a same-day home cleanout service, which means we can clean out the space within 24 hours. If the job is larger or more complex, we’ll schedule it the next day to get it done safer and more efficiently.

What happens if you find anything valuable?

Every item has some sort of value, and we’ve never been into ‘finders keepers’. If you refer to valuables such as jewelry, art pieces, and money, it’s part of our mission to return it to its rightful owner or the person who contracted us. If there are items with emotional value, such as photos, collectables, or lucky charms, we’ll let you know about them and you decide what to do with them.

Can you also move the items in a storage unit?

Yes, if you don’t want to donate or throw away the items, we can store them in your storage unit. We’re fast, discreet, and careful with every item, so you’ll be able to preserve them for as long as you want.
